Helping Alabama Families
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Alabama, Inc. (CCCSA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1967 by local community leaders and credit grantors. Our mission is to help families manage money through professional, confidential counseling, educational programs, and by providing alternatives to bankruptcy. Although not a federal or state agency, CCCSA is recognized by both governments and is a Department of Housing and Urban Development Certified Housing Counseling Agency.
CCCSA is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), licensed by the Alabama Securities Commission, and an approved provider of bankruptcy services in all three Alabama bankruptcy districts.
